A February afternoon......

"The day is ending,
The night is descending;
The marsh is frozen,
The river dead.

Through clouds like ashes
The red sun flashes
On village windows
That glimmer red."
-Henry Wadsworth Longfellow-

Spring is not far off, in fact we have been having a little touch of it here.

So much meaning in those few words. Contrary to many others...I prefer the cold winter weather. I liked the poem.

Another thing we have in common...our enjoyment of coffee and conversations. I like that you will think of me tomorrow morning.

The days are getting longer here and we have signs of Spring, crocus are flowering in my garden. Are you still frozen? x

Hi Carol and Charli,

It is chilly here- in the 60's. We are wimps in AZ. Spring will soon be here.

hugs

That about sums up February! It is the shortest month of the year and yet if you live in the winter wonderland of the US it can seem the longest!
Hugs,
