Blue Monday.....

Welcome to Blue Monday, a post hosted by my friend Sally, at http://smilingsally.blogspot.com/ Every week a group of us gals get together to post something blue. Thank you Sally for hosting this fun post! If you would like to join our group, or you would like more information about us, just click on the above link to reach the official Blue Monday web site.....

Traveling along M-14, if you were to take exit three, you would find yourself on Main Street heading into the quaint college town of Ann Arbor, Michigan. There in the heart of the town you will find small specialty shopes, restaurants, coffee shops, art galleries, bookstores, antique shops, and the well known farmers market, but the real draw to the area is the University Of Michigan. Traveling further along Main Street it's impossible to miss the big and bold University Of Michigan Stadium sign with all of it's blue and gold. That is the blue I have to offer this week. The day I took these pictures it was overcast and snowing. If you click on the pictures though I think you can get a much better view of the sign.....
Now I know the Wolverine's didn't do that well last year, with the new coach, and all of the freshmen on the team, but I have high hopes come this fall they will be barreling across the football field in true blue Michigan style again. Come on fellas, "Let's Go Blue."

Of course no trip to
Ann Arbor would be complete
without stopping by to see my
brother and sister-in-law.
This is a picture of my brother's
office. Lot's of blue book covers
here........

Remember last week when I showed you the picture of my brother and I? Well, here is the exact same picture in my brother's office. Yep.... We are right there on the wall next to that famous author James Joyce.......
By now I'm sure you have all heard that the ground hog saw his shadow this morning. That means six more weeks of winter but that's OK. Just think!.... In six more weeks it will be spring..... Yeah!.....
I also wanted to share my good news with you. I won Elizabeth's give away! I am so excited!..... Thank you again Elizabeth! I was so surprised when I got her e-mail. I will be posting more about my win later this week.....
I hope all of you are having a bright, sunny, and happy Blue Monday!.....
I look forward to reading your posts....
With warmest regards, Carol

Quite a tour you've given here... have you ever done "That's My World Tuesday"?

You should think about it if you haven't!

Woo, you had to WORK for this Blue Monday post--even going out in the storm. I did see the Big Blue Building. Your brother's office is extra special with a picture of the two of you in it! Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the tour. Your brother's office is very nice. The bears are so cute. Books and bears make a great combo.

Though I have only been to Ann Arbor one time. I enjoyed my visit quite a bit. It is a great town.

Hi Carol...Thanks for the visit to Ann Arbor! You have snow and we have not seen one flake so far. We are unlikely to, since our Southern groundhog, General Beauregard Lee, is predicting an early Spring for us and he has a 94% accuracy rate!! Have a great week...Debbie

Since I have never an opportunity to visit Michigan, I appreciate all of the pictures of the state that you post. Also, congratulations for your award. In my book you deserve every award that you are given. I find it a blessing each time that I stop by your blog.

That's so sweet about you and your brother! My brother is 9 1/2 years younger than I am. I posted about him recently, too. I love your brother's office library!
