"God is intimately involved in the details
of your life. He cares about your relationships, your activities, your hopes,
and your dreams. If you only look for
God in times of extraordinary need-an accident, an illness, or some other major event-you're missing out on the day-to-day joy and wonder of watching God work in the small stuff in your life"

Devotions for Every Day

Happy Hopeful Friday everyone!.....
I hope you are having a lovely day....
Peace and blessings to all of you.....
With warmest regards, Carol

I really like this, it makes you stop and think. And yes, God IS in your everyday life and people tend to forget that, I think. =) Have a great weekend! I'll be doing more cleaning! LOL

I agree. We so often forget Him until there's some BIG disaster.

I'm totally guilty of forgetting about God until something big goes down.
The last couple of years I've been really trying to make an effort NOT to do that. To make him more of my everyday life, to have an ongoing dialoge with him.
It's not easy but I've definatly improved. :)
Thanks for the great post and the reminder...

I didn't have a good hopeful Friday as I was ill. I was having dizzy spells which made me very nauseated. But I'm okay today! I just love your spring banner and background with the pastel colors, and also the Shelly poem.

God has blessed me in so many ways. A wonderful husband, 4 loving children, 11 grandchildren and 2 great children. All are happy and healthy. I have some very dear friends and now I have my new blogger friends. I always give him thanks at night and do my best to remember the less fortunate especially those in bad health. Have a great day and a blessed Palm Sunday and Easter week. Madeline

Carol, as usual, this is lovely, lovely, and SO true! I think it's the everyday times that makes God's presence a surity in our lives... it increases our faith in knowing Him so personally... by walking and talking with Him daily "in the garden."

Love to you...

XO,

Sheila :-)

Hello Aunt Carol & Uncle Mike,

This is not from the blind people. This is from the Mommy who is not on line and the daughter who reads to her from 4000 miles away.

Hope you all are well. We are doing great here.

It would be great to see you in June/July when we come over.

Love

Kelly & Sharon

Hi Kelly,
It's so nice to hear from you! I'm so glad you like my blog and read it to your mom. See what comes with retirement LOL Any chance you might start one? It would be great to follow one another. I love you very much and I'm also hoping to get to see all of you when you come to the states :>)
