Welcome to Dogs On Thursday, at http://dogsonthursday.blogspot.com/ A post where dog lovers like myself get together weekly to talk about their most precious four legged friends. If you would like to join our group, or you would like more information about us, just click on the above link to reach the official Dogs On Thursday web site.........

Charli and I have been very busy this week getting everything ready for Easter. Charli has been enjoying all of the rides in the car as we go here, and there, to pick up this, and that. She has met several new friends because people stop all the time to say hello to her. It has been a good week here at our house and we hope it's been a good one at your house also........

Since I won't be posting from Wednesday evening through Easter due to the holy hours and our Easter celebration, I wanted to take this time to wish all of you a very happy and blessed Easter Sunday!.........
"What's that Charli?"
"Happy Easter everyone! Now can I take of this hat? I don't like it at all!"
"But Charli it's your Easter bonnet. Don't you want to look pretty in the Easter parade?"..........

Happy Dogs On Thursday everyone!...
With warmest regards,

May I say, I adore charlie. The sweetest little thing.

I'd rather post to your blog about thursdays.. if that is okay.

I lost my beloved's 4 months apart and I fear my heart will never heal from the loss of a set of true friends. Jazzmine was with me 4 months after marrying my husband, saw me through rough times like the day I took ill & continued to be and she passed exactly 8 years later on the day we found out what was wrong (lupus). I struggled with it but have come to accept that the good Lord must have needed a watchful set of eyes on the gates of heaven and for her to have a companion at her side (Boodles). My two beloveds to this day can make me water up and cry like i've never done. She was my Gaurdian, not I to her. He was my comfort. Together they were my critter hero's.

Now we have rescue Bugzy and adopted Sadie-mae. These two are better than cable tv or a night out. They play, sleep & shamelessly crawl away when scolded together. He is hyper active.. no kidding.. truly. She is more reserved and a bit fearful of things... we are working on it. When I need to lay down for a nap during a flareup.. these two follow close behind. One at my feet, the other at my back. Both hurt constantly. do I think it's a fluke? No. They know when mommy is having a bad day.

They will never fill the void of our loss but they sure have stepped in some big shoes rather comfortably & lovingly. I look forward to many years with our new critters. They bless me, comfort me & even scoop up the tears on a bad day.

Bugzy & Sadie-mae... the next generation of dogs who teach us how to love uncondtionally. Mo-mo & Po-po loves you both!!

Oh Charli is darling. I had a darker gray schnauzer but the repair men left the gate opened and Jake (and Lady) both got out and hit by a car...was I ever devastated!
God has blessed me with Tinkabelle now and she is so sweet.

blessings,
marcy

What a darling little dress and hat Charli is wearing. Mosby wanted to ask her out on a doggie date, but I told him she lives too far away. He was really disappointed.
