Blue Monday..........

Welcome to Blue Monday, hosted by my friend Sally, at http://smilingsally.blogspot.com/ This is a weekly post where some of us blogger's get together to talk about or share something blue. Thank you Sally for hosting such a fun post! If you would like to join our group, or you would like more information about us, just click on the above link to reach the official Blue Monday web site............

For those of you who love the color blue, have you ever considered dying your hair blue? Shh..... I have...
Of course I don't think I would ever go so far as to do it, and especially at my age, but I often think it would be neat to add just a streak of blue here or there. The girl friends and family I have shared my secret with have been a little shocked because I'm usually much more conservative than that. My hubby, well, he just shakes his head. What do you think? Would you ever consider dying your hair blue?..........

Happy Blue Monday everyone!
I hope you have a beautiful and sunny day ♥
With warmest regards, Carol

Wild huh? No, I might consider pink. They have some colors that wash out don't they. If I was young...

I have used blue mascara...does that count?

I would have done it in a New York minute when I was a teen...it just wasn't IN at that time. I did, however, sport a totally white streak in my black hair back then...

No I have never dyed my hair any color. With the color dye they have now around Halloween that washes out I might just try it to see what my grand kids would say. Have a great Monday. Madeline

Well my hair is white, white. Years ago my Mom had a rinse on her year that looked blue. They used to call the grayhaired women who used that rinse, The Blue Ladies. I have heard them call the women who come to the beauty weekly for a do, A Blue Lady. Not because their hair is blue, because they wash their one day a week and have it set at the salon. I have been careful to stay away from the blue, which is supposed to make it silver, rinse.
For that reason I don't care for blue hair, pink maybe.

My hair is very dark so it would have to be a bright blue for a streak to show up. A friend in FL is a stylist and has been adding college and high school color themed extensions that look great. Just a touch, enough to be noticed but not overpowering. My school colors were silver and blue. I already have the silver.... :)

My daughter wants to do a blue streak, but we decided against it she works now at McDonalds and we're not sure how that would look! Like your new background!

Carol, LOL! The only way I would die my hair blue is 1) if I were playing a smurf in a play and 2) if I were going to a costume party. And while I hate to admit it, I actually LIKE some of these hairdos. The colors are pretty. LOL! What has come over me???

Happy Blue Monday...

XO,

Sheila :-)

LOL No, Carol, as much as I love BLUE, I would never think of that. You've brought some different BLUES to show us today. Happy Blue Monday.

Oh, Carol! You're showing a side of you we didn't know about! You're a little on the wild side, huh? I don't think I've thought of any blue hair but maybe just a pinch of pink! :)
Hug little Charli for me!
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)

Carol. you asked what kind of trinkets I bake into the barmbrack. I wrap a dime in foil and use that.

I've never thought of dying my hair blue, but I have been wanting to dye it gray!!
Maybe once I let it go gray, then I would think about the blue!
I really think it's so pretty! And I love pink hair too!

Cute post!
Love,
Eileen

I'm back again to tell you how much I enjoyed your Blue Monday post. I'm afraid blue hair does nothing for me :-). I hope you are having a wonderful day.

I love blue but have no desire to color my hair any color, let alone blue. Although, it might be worth it just to see the looks on the faces of my boys and daughter-in-law! ;) But I would have to have a full guarantee that it would all wash out with the first washing!

Just when I think I have you somewhat figured out, you throw statements like this into your somewhat conservative blog posts. What fun that is. I like how you always keep us guessing. I think a few blue streaks for you and a few for Charli, would be a great way to support your Michigan football team.

Wishing you an enjoyable Blue Monday...with the blue streaks,or without.

I LOVE BLUE! I tried on a blond wig a couple of times, but that was bad enough; I would look 10 times worse with blue hair! But, it is a lovely hue for those with just the right color skin!! I saw a pink poodle once...I wonder if Charli would like to be blue for a day? Have a fun week, Carol! Anita

I guess this is a little more hip than the "blue hairs" :) Like Wanda, I used to have midnight blue mascara :) Blue hair...maybe not :)
