Dogs On Thursday.......

Welcome to Dogs On Thursday at http://dogsonthursday.blogspot.com/
A weekly post where dog lovers like myself get together to talk about our most precious little four legged friends. If you would like to join our group, or you would like more information about us, just click on the above link to reach the official Dogs On Thursday web site........

Good afternoon everyone! We hope all of you have had a good week. We have been incredibly busy here.
Charli has even been busy trying to help raise money for needy dogs here in blogland. She participated in a Pet Parade yesterday to help spread awareness of the problems animals are facing in our country due to our declining economy. Please check out our post, a couple of posts back, to learn more about this growing problem and some of the things you can do to help. The post also includes a great video that addresses some of these concerns and problems, as well as, an explanation of the scarf program that's been created to help animals in need..........

Some of you have asked if Charli will be dressing up for Halloween this year. It's official! She now has a Halloween costume! Charli and I love Halloween! It's one of our favorite holidays. Well, actually, every holiday is our favorite holiday at the time it's occurring but we truly do love Halloween here in our family. Charli can't wait to show you her costume so stay tuned. What about your precious animals? Do they get into the spirit of the holiday? We would love to hear from you......

The following pictures are of Charli getting ready to go to Sunday Brunch last week. She loves to go to Ann Arbor to visit my brother and sister-in-law. Even though there are supposed to be no dogs allowed in the condo association they live in, they had it stipulated in their contract that Charli can come visit any time she wants. I told you Charli was a little diva in our family didn't I? My brother and sister-in-law have a large screened in porch and when the weather is nice they leave the door open so Charli can run onto the porch anytime she wants. She loves to go out there to watch the ducks in the pond and the people going by. In fact Charli thinks we should get a screened in porch too but we don't think so because the next thing she will want is a pond. LOL
Brunch was delicious! We had eggs Benedict, coffee cake, pastries, and cups of hot steaming coffee. Yummy! Charli was in doggy heaven!
The best part of getting together though is being able to visit with our family. Charli is starting to like all the attention she gets from my nieces, great-nieces, brother, and sister-in-law. We all have noticed that she is finally starting to accept the fact that people are not going to hurt her and that they can actually be fun to be around. She is willing to go up to them, sometimes sit on they're laps, even allows them to some times pet her. We see this as such a major break though.....

Happy Dogs On Thursday everyone!
We hope you have a wonderful and blessed
day ♥
With warmest regards,

i don't think the condo association could say anything about a visitor, anyway, but why would they object to a well behaved little girl like Charli?

And of course she loves Halloween. What's not to love?

I am not one bit surprise by how how adorable Charli looks as a pumpkin. That is one pooch that really knows how to wear an outfit!

I love all Charli's little outfits. My dogs don't dress up for Halloween, but we're working on something for our Christmas picture.

Carol, you asked about the witches on my blog go to www.glitter-graphic.com. On the left hand side click on falling objects, then when the objects come up click on the one you want, then click of generate code, copy the code and paste it on your blog as you would do the objects on your side bar. Hope this will help you.
