For Who The Bell Tolls......

For Who The Bell Tolls

As we begin our Fourth of July Celebrations it's important to remember the sacrifices that were made so we can enjoy the freedoms we have today. I hope you will take a moment or two to watch the following very heart felt video. The sound of the bell ringing is truly eerie and sad.

It is a reminder of all the men and women that lost their lives in the quest for liberty and freedom. I hope I never take the freedoms I enjoy for granted. As the Fourth of July approaches Charli and me salutes, honors, and has a deep abiding respect for our patriots.

With warmest regards,

Morning Carol.

Yes, I am enjoying the summer time. I always prefer heat to cold.

Have a Happy 4th! Live dangerously; eat a hamburger!

I'll never forget seeing the Liberty Bell for the first time and how I felt I was on holy ground. I don't think we will know this side of heaven just what the American Revolution did not just for the US, but for the world. The outcome of that war was so far reaching and is still reaching down the generations. Long may the bell of liberty ring!

Happy Fourth, Carol...

I had the honor of visiting Independence Hall years ago and seeing the Liberty Bell up close. It was a wonderful experience and one can feel history all around them there.

CAROL!!!! You came to my post....and had a flute of pink champagne! Oh the Korbel winery is just gorgeous and the pink stuff is so good....get the Brut Rosé is the best. I don't know, I just like the fizzy, fresh pink taste! Serve it up to your guests and they will feel real special. HAVE A WONDERFUL FOURTH and I hope Miss Charli doesn't get scared with all the fireworks!
